Today I wanna take a moment and talk about strength, being strong.
What exactly is strength? We are all so conditioned to think that being strong means having shredded abs and huge arms, but it’s SO much more than that
Webster’s dictionary describes strength as:
- The quality or state of being physically strong.
- The ability to resist being moved or broken by a force.
- The quality that allows someone to deal with problems in a determined and effective way
It doesn’t matter how many reps you can do or how heavy the weight is, that’s not what determines how strong you are. The saying “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” is so true. When something breaks you down and you feel like it’s the end of the world but you get back up and come out stronger than ever.. That my friends is what determines you strength and shows how strong you really are. Strength is something from inside and no one can accurately judge you for that. We all have our own story.
OF course working out is important, but being mentally strong is just as important. It’s the strength that keeps you going. Find your inner warrior and fight like its your job!

Strong looks different on everybody so stop comparing yourselves to others and instead compare yourself to who you were yesterday.
Like I said in my earlier post working out was my escape it’s where i went to when i needed to get away and sort out my problems. I would go and get on the treadmill when i was feeling overwhelmed. Now i workout because it makes me stronger, less stressed, happy, and honestly i like how i feel after a workout, also on the plus side i don’t dread going to the gym 🙂 i get excited… like really excited, because it mentally and physically makes you stronger!
